Hoosier Land ain't it Grand

This is my first blog--ever!! So here goes...

Day 2 of the BIG JOURNEY has come to a close. The day began with a breakfast of fresh layed eggs on a farm in the middle of Missouri and ended with a bottle of Dole Sparklers Cranberry Raspberry juice somewhere in the middle of Indiana. After our time out on the farm with the chickens and goats, we felt the need to experience the "gateway to the west," aka St. Louis!

While in the city we took a tour of the Anhueser Busch factory, enjoyed a couple of glasses of locally brewed beer then headed over to the arch for a ride to the top. After being crammed into a spaceship pod with 4 other people & no air condintioning we arrived at the crown. I have to admit it is a pretty spectacular view of the city from the top of the arch, and since there was a Cardinals game going on, we could watch the mini baseball action through the windows.

After all that learning about history we were hungry for some St. Louis style pizza and were told we should try Jonie's. I sure do love me some pizza! After pizza we hit the road again and now we're in the heart of hoosier land.

This is where I leave you until next time. Stay Classy San Diego.
